30 Days After Launching My SaaS: 60+ Users and 9 Conversion Rate 📈
Just hit the 30-day mark since launching my second product online. Here's what happened.
The Numbers:
- 53 users signed up
- 9.43% conversion rate
- 5 people actually paid me
- Zero marketing budget
What I Built: Landing page inspiration tool for developers. Helps you find designs from successful SaaS companies instead of browsing random sites for hours.
What Worked:
- Solved a real problem developers have
- Simple signup - no fancy onboarding
- Asked users what they wanted via email
- Gave promo codes to first 2 customers
My "Marketing" Strategy:
- Super basic landing page (hero + pricing + how it works)
- Zero SEO knowledge
- Posted about it on X
- Wrote posts here on Reddit
- That's it
Key Lessons:
- Launch before you think it's ready
- Simple beats complex every time
- Direct customer feedback > analytics
- 50+ users feels small but each one matters
My MVP was pretty rough but it solved a problem people had. Sometimes that's enough. The conversion rate surprised me most. 9.43% means almost 1 in 10 people who signed up decided to pay. For a solo founder with no marketing experience, that feels pretty good.
What's Next:
Keep building based on user feedback. Add features people actually ask for, not what I think they want.
